Our Heritage
The year is 1977. Noticing a business opportunity in the fast growing construction industry in Singapore, an astute Mr Neo Peng Teng established a sole proprietorship under the name Tiong Lee Huat Engineering Works. The company started out renting Hydraulic Excavators but soon added Hydraulic Breakers and Crushers to the rental fleet to cater to a rapidly evolving market with more sophisticated construction needs.
Eleven years on, against a backdrop of a booming housing and infrastructure development market, Mr Neo Peng Teng made plans to expand the company and invited his brother, Mr Neo Eng Choon, onboard. Together, the Neo brothers incorporated the company we know today as Tiong Lee Huat Machinery & Construction, which evolved to sell both brand new and used construction equipment as well as a wide range of spare parts for excavators, hydraulic breakers and crushers.
With 40 years of experience in this industry, we have come to be a leader of technical knowledge, especially on breaker technology in the South-East Asian region. Our expertise in the industry allows us to offer repair services for a wide range of complex issues.
